Curator of European and American Art, Krannert Art Museum
Maureen Warren is curator of European and (North) American art at Krannert Art Museum. Officially, she’s responsible for everything made in the nineteenth century or earlier, but her favorite research topics involve works on paper—especially prints—and ceramics and she increasingly works with living artists. Maureen has curated exhibitions about medieval manuscripts, art and science in early modern Europe, blue and white ceramic traditions around the world, depictions of the sacred and supernatural in European prints, and contemporary American ink painting.
