It turns out a good number of Platemark guests will be showing at the Brooklyn Fine Art Print Fair in March 2025
Which means if you come to Powerhouse Arts at the end of March, you'll have an opportunity to engage with these Platemark guests about their work and our conversations on the pod. This is your chance to ask all your burning questions.
Brooklyn print fair details
The Brooklyn Fine Art Print Fair runs March 27–30, 2025, during New York Print Week (the same week as the IFPDA print fair). If you are heading to New York in March, please add us to your Print Week schedule.
There will be 40 booths in a variety of sizes in Powerhouse’s 22,517-square-foot, column-free Grand Hall for galleries and print publishers, as well as and academic printmaking departments. In the adjacent but separate Loft space, 28 table-tops will feature book arts purveyors and self-representing artists working in print. There will be talks and demos going on all weekend.
Tickets will go on sale online at brooklynprintfair.org in early February.
Can’t wait to see you at Powerhouse Arts in March! Mark those calendars!
About Powerhouse Arts (PHA)
Powerhouse Arts is located at 322 Third Avenue, in the Gowanus neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY. PHA's purpose-built facility hosts an extended network of art and fabrication professionals and educators who work together to co-create and share artistic practices vital to the well being of artists and the communities to which they belong. Its building is a monumental former transit power plant built in 1904. Renovated over a decade, Powerhouse Arts opened its doors in 2022.
Luther Davis is director of the PHA Printshop. If you haven't yet toured the PHA facility, you should. It is a magnificent resource for artists. In addition, Manhattan Graphics Center has recently moved into the building activating the new MGC Community Print Studio. PHA is a veritable epicenter for prints and printmaking in the greater New York area and is the perfect spot for a new print fair.
